Discover Scuba Diving - 2 dives
Discover Scuba Diving is an experience for people who are not yet certified and want to enjoy and feel how to go scuba diving.
Although this experience is not a certification, it allows you to explore underwater with one of our instructors.
We meet in the morning at the dive shop, and after preparing all the equipment and sharing a coffee, we head to the beach.
Here we will have an excellent briefing about scuba, what to do, and the diving equipment necessary information.
Once we finish the briefing, we will go to the shallow water at the beach; here, we will practice some necessary skills outside and inside the water to relax and get comfortable in the water.
After the practice session, we will start swimming to a shallow reef of no more than 10 meters or 35 ft. and do our dive here.
After we finish this dive, we will get a tasty and healthy sandwich (Let us know your dietary preferences in advance) and get going to the boat where we will do our second dive of the day.
On the second dive, we will go to Cozumel’s National Marine Park, diving down to a maximum depth of 40ft (12m). While on the boat, you will go through an Eco briefing, learning about the reef system and the wonderful marine environment you will visit.
During these dive, you'll encounter plenty of marine life, including various species of tropical fish, lobsters, moray eels, stingrays, pufferfish, crabs, shrimp, and more.
If we're lucky, we might catch a glimpse of the majestic eagle ray!
At Barefoot Dive Center, safety is our top priority. That is why we reduce our groups of this activity from 4 people to only 2 per instructor.
Whit this, we can offer a personalized service, safety, and more fun!.
* If, after the first dive, you decide not to proceed to the second dive from the boat for any reason, you will receive partial reimbursement for the portion not performed.
